How can I contact you?

What kind of camera do you use?

I recently read some great blog advice – use the camera you have and learn to take really good photos with it. That’s what I’m trying to do! I have a Nikon Coolpix L20 point-and-shoot digital camera that takes great close-ups of food. I occasionally use my iPhone and am surprised by the quality shots I get with it. However, I would love to improve my skills (and perhaps my camera) in the near future.

May I use your recipes on my blog?

Most of my recipes are borrowed and adapted, so please feel free to do the same. I ask that you credit my blog with a link if you are going to do this. Thanks!

Where did you attend school?

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. My majors include History and Art History with a minor in American Literature.

What is your “day” job?

When I’m not blogging, I work for Sharrott Winery in Blue Anchor, NJ. There I do Tasting Room Sales, website work, manage their social media and teach wine education classes. And occasionally they let me help with the taste trials. It’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it!

What is your favorite South Jersey winery?

Asking me that is like asking which child I like best! My philosophy is that when one winery succeeds, they all succeed. I like to spread my purchases around. Since I now work at a New Jersey winery, I’m sure you can guess my favorite. Still, I believe you can find delicious, affordable wine at every winery in this state. Visit a New Jersey winery today!

You mention in your blog that you support local businesses.  Where do you shop?

I try to shop small and local as much as possible. I look for family run businesses, restaurants, and farm-stands in my area. Of course, sometimes you have to go to the big box stores for certain items. If I do, I shop the stores in Vineland to support local employees. And don’t forget to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag)!
